Junie Browning is a hard one to give proper credit to because he’s batshit crazy. Browning isn’t the Quinton “Batshit Crazy” Jackson kind of crazy (i.e. a good guy who is a little off his rocker), he’s just crazy Jerry Springer show crazy. Like, we wouldn’t even be the least bit surprised if we saw Browning on a Springer show titled “I’m Sleeping with My Best Friend’s Wife…and She’s Also My Cousin!” which inevitably erupts with Junie and said best friend going after each other under a cloud of f-bombs while being restrained by two mammoth security guards as the crowd chants “Jerry! Jerry!” The fight would probably start after a drunk Browning said something like, “Yeah we’re kissing cousins. She’s kissing my [bleep]! She just kissed my [bleep!] 15 minutes ago, bro!”

Anyway, that’s a long prelude to pointing out that Browning is a helluva fighter and he showed all his skills last night at TUF 8 by defeating Diamond Dave Kaplan and capturing ‘Fight of the Night’ honors for the $25k bonus.

For those who missed it and care about little things called “details,” Browning vs. Kaplan was the opening bout on the Spike TV broadcast. In Round 1, Browning busted up Kaplan’s face with some crisp striking, and he finished Diamond Dave off with a Round 2 arm bar submission.

In other TUF 8 results, Anthony Johnson defeated Kevin Burns with a swift and devasting kick to the head in the third round. And the “Can-I-buy-a-vowel” nominee of the year Krzysztof Soszynski bested Shane Primm with a second round submission.
