Gina Carano Gives Go Ahead for Round 5 Figurine

Round 5 has announced that after taking a look at the prototype of her MMA figurine in Toronto, Ontario, this past Friday, Gina Carano has made some final adjustments and given the go ahead for mass production of the collectible. A press release sent out from the company today states that the Carano figurine should come available in July. (And no, there are no plans to release a life size edition)

Of course, due to the fact that Carano is ridiculously hot, it will be interesting to see whether or not this particular collectible infiltrates a new market for Round 5, meaning, instead of hitting up the MMA keyboard warrior demographic, perhaps they can cash in on the socially challenged, Second Life 24/7, demographic as well. Let MMA Fix be the first to suggest that Round 5 make Carano the first fighter with an entire series of collectibles dedicated to her, the wardrobe possibilities are endless…

Carano is far from just a gorgeous face of course, and rumors persist that the feared striker will face the highly regarded Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos, in an all-star clash sometime this summer.
