Rampage and Machida to Coach TUF Before Fighting

Only 2 days removed from Lyoto Machida’s light-heavyweight championship victory Saturday, when he folded Rashad Evans so violently with a punch it looked like he had run full speed into a titanium limbo stick, speculation has begun that Machida will be a coach in the next “Ultimate Fighter” season. This morning, a reliable source close to the situation, has informed MMA Fix that the new champion and former champ, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, will indeed be the coaches for the next season of TUF. UFC President Dana White stated after Saturday’s card that the undefeated Brazilian would make his first title defense against Rampage, and having Machida coach on the next season of TUF, certainly should raise not only the new champ’s profile, but it could add some pre-fight drama to the title fight.

Here’s hoping that if the renowned karate expert is included in the next season, Machida teaches the UFC hopefuls how to bust out that sweet ass kick that Ralph Macchio used to seal the deal in The Karate Kid. Further, instead of training in the same UFC gym that’s featured every season, Machida should fly the boys back to Brazil and have them ‘wax on’ and ‘wax off’ his collection of cars…(or sand and paint his fence, makes no difference to us)

    Will I think that no how to get that fight on with Rampage and The Karate Kid let’s them have the time to be the coach on the TUF I think Rampage Jackson is hateing the long weight but every one no that Dana White is the big dog so let’s see if Rampage Jackson will go for it to get the belt and be the pound for pound fighter that he is in my book.

    p.s. Rampage is going to kick the Karate Kid ass all the cage. :) <
