Brock Lesnar Suffering from Bacterial Intestinal Infection

brock_lesnar

Ok, earlier in the week we said that increasingly the idea that Brock Lesnar might be faking an illness for whatever reason is absurd, and today, there’s more evidence to demonstrate that anyone saying otherwise, should be sent to the loony bin. (Although we’re still open to a discussion about the conspiracy theory that the UFC is planning on holding an event on the moon for UFC 200- spread the word.)

According to a new report by the Associated Press, Lesnar has been diagnosed with a bacterial infection in his intestinal track; he continues to recover in a hospital in Bismarck, North Dakota. The story quoted UFC Boss Man Dana White who said that the heavyweight champ “is in stable condition and should be released soon.” When asked if the illness could jeopardize Lesnar’s MMA career, White reportedly said “It depends on how serious it is.”

On Sunday, we passed along the news from a MMA Weekly report that quoted a representative from Lesnar’s camp, which said the wrestling star’s condition was “nothing life threatening” and further, “just some complications with his illness.”

The more recent AP report also included White saying:

”He’s never in good spirits and he’s not in good spirits now.”

Yeah no sh-t. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery, so that Lesnar can continue to take out his frustrations in the Octagon. It’s always damn entertaining.
