Rashad Evans (above) contemplating his next move after a so-so victory at UFC 108.
UFC 108 wrapped in Las Vegas last night. While the card itself was a little underwhelming, like Dana White was telling anyone who would listen, it did produce an exciting broadcast of submissions and knock-outs. Here are the results:
Cole Miller def. Dan Lauzon via submission, 3:05 of Round 1.
Martin Kampmann def. Jacob Volkmann via submission, 4:03 of Round 1
Junior Dos Santos def. Gilbert Yvel via TKO, 2:07 of Round 1
Jim Miller def. Duane Ludwig via submission, 2:31 of Round 1
Sam Stout def. Jo Lauzon via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27)
Paul Daley def. Dustin Hazelett via KO, 2:24 of Round 1
Rashad Evans def. Thiago Silva via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Not sure what the win means for Rashad. He looked great for two rounds but was fortunate to not get dropped in the third. If that fight with Rampage Jackson happens soon and he pulls through with a solid victory, then maybe he can start thinking about a title shot again.
Best part of the night though? Kenda Perez being introduced as host of Best of Pride on Spike. More on this shortly.
