Data shows UFC fans spend nearly double what the average visitor will spend. According to the research firm Applied Analysis, last year 91,000 people attended UFC fights in Las Vegas, generating $86 million in non-gaming revenue.
So while we expect PPV buys for UFC 108 to be slightly down compared to other recent cards, at least the city of Vegas can expect some sort of financial uptick from the event.
