Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is a +325 Underdog to Jon Jones

Though initial betting lines showed Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as a (+305) dog to Jon Jones for their upcoming title clash at UFC 135, lines are now showing an even wider gap with Jackson at (+325) to Jones at (-450).

It’s pretty tough to find a reason not to bet on Jones, well…if you’ve got the $450 to lay on him just to make a $100 bucks…but my point is, Jones is looking much like Anderson Silva these days (who wouldn’t fight him) and is what we in the betting world like to call a “Sure Thing”. The only reason I can even think of to place your bet on the “Rampage” value is a simple scientific theory referred to as, “What Goes Up Must Come Down.” But that’s the law of Gravity. And well, I’m pretty sure if Jones is down on the ground in the cage, he’ll likely win there, too.

Yet you can’t underestimate Jackson and that value is pretty freakin’ good. Plus, Jackson’s a pro at these hyped up fights and we’ve seen Jones almost cracking from the pressure of fighting a big trash-talking veteran fighter in Jackson’s mutual nemesis, Rashad Evans. So maybe the young fighter could experience his very first [legitimate] loss. And if that is a possibility, it’s a good time to lay that dog money if you believe Jackson will be taking back “his title.”
