From the looks of it, Chuck will survive yet another week.

The judges even gave him the featured dance for the elimination show, letting him reperform his samba. For some reason, it seems like the judges really want Chuck to do well on this show. They’re giving him every chance to build a fan base.

In somewhat related news, Chuck is now listed at 30/1 for winning DWTS, only ahead of Michael Irvin (40/1). In completely related news, bet on Chuck’s 30/1 here.

See, there’s this site called Dial Idol that tracks busy signals on phones and predicts who is going home on American Idol. They’re usually right. They do Dancing with the Stars too, and it looks like Liddell is in the “safe” category this week (view here).

How do we know about this Dial Idol site? Because you’re a fag fuck you.

Anyway, hopefully we’ll get to see Chuck do a salsa or jive next week. That would be entertaining.

Along with RawVegas.tv planning some fun videos around Chuck Liddell being on Dancing with the Stars. However, there was one small problem. After his first dance, it wasn’t a lock that Chuck Liddell was going to continue being on Dancing with the Stars.

Fortunately, he made it through, as guy-with-girl’s-name Ashley Hamilton got the boot.

So look for the first in our Chuck Liddell Dancing with the Stars video series early next week. And nice work Chuck on making it through.

Oh yeah, if you’re not watching the show, Joanna Krupa is freaking hot.

Anyway, word on the proverbial street is he has improved a lot since he started training, that he’s in great shape, and has more skills than you might think.

In related news, Dana White did confirm he’ll be in attendance for the premiere.

Almost as excited as we are to see Joanna Krupa on Dancing with the Stars. Almost. Unfortunately Chuck lacks a flawless body, face, and vagina, so until he figures out how to fix that, our vote still goes to Krupa.

Junior Dos Santos was one of the big stories to come out of UFC 103 last night, as the Brazilian heavyweight battered the legendary Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic around the Octagon, en route to a third round stoppage. (Performing basic bodily functions today may be rather uncomfortable for Cro Cop) Although it appears as though Cro Cop’s days of giving fighters cause for sweaty, scream filled nightmares are over,  last night’s performance by the up-and-coming Dos Santos, was impressive nonetheless.

Talking to MMA Fanhouse, UFC President Dana White stated:

“Dos Santos is no joke,” he said. “That definitely put him on the heavyweight map right now. He’s in the mix.”

While the stock of Dos Santos is rapidly rising, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Cro Cop, who has now gone 2-3 in the UFC Octagon. In regards to the Croatian’s performance, White  told MMA Junkie:

“I’m not saying that I’ve ever been at the level of a Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ or any of these guys, but I used to fight. You get to a certain age where you remember what you used to be able to do, and you can see all the openings. You just can’t pull the trigger. I think that’s where he’s at.”

Hmm, sounds familiar, didn’t Chuck Liddell receive a rather similar speech? Maybe Cro Cop should look in to Dancing With the Stars and then see where he’s at?

CBS and Strikeforce have announced this afternoon that the upcoming bout between Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers will take place Saturday, November 7^th. Best part is, it will be broadcast live on CBS. (Look for a counter programming announcement from the UFC shortly) No venue or location was announced.

So, getting Fedor’s first Strikeforce bout on network TV is a pretty big deal for the Cali based promotion, as although Fedor is a legend amongst MMA nerds, he’s no fighter turned Dancing With the Stars contender. (Although with that sambo background…he could surprise some people) In other words, network TV is a great way to get the word out on Fedor, Strikeforce’s greatest acquisition, rather than relying on casual fans to fork out for a pay-per-view.

Speaking of “The Last Emperor” and his recent 3 fight deal with Strikeforce, on Inside MMA recently (thanks to MMA Bay for the quote), Fedor was asked about whether or not at some point, a fight between him and Brock Lesnar could materialize.

“I think that this fight will definitely take place sometime. I hope that finally we’ll find some common language with the UFC and we’ll come to an agreement.”

Yes, unfortunately sometime next summer the whole Dana said, M-1 said schmaz will start up all over again. Will Mr. Rogers have something to say about all that?
