War Machine has plenty of fans and enemies, and the dude is a quote machine, but the question most people want to know about right now is why he got in that fight at Krave Nightclub.

War Machine tells us:

1. He actually works at Krave. He’s the “cute guy” who does bottle service.
2. “Gay bar…great place to pick up chicks.”
3. He beat the guy up with “only one punch.”
4. It was a “mutual fight.”

He also talks about his Evan Tanner comments and why he got the boot out of UFC. And why he’ll probably end up killing himself.

Last night an hour or so into going out I attempted to take a picture with a friend. The person that was taking it kept saying, “Do another one it’s blurry” this happened 4 times. Finally I was like “wtf, lemme see” Each picture was the same. The ENTIRE photo was crystal clear except my face was completely blurred. I mean you could see my neck, my shoulders, the background and he was perfect but yet in EVERY pic my face was totally blurred. It was like some shit out of a horror movie…it gave me a really eerie feeling….I thought I might die that night or something. I should have followed my gut and went home, but I didn’t. So anyway long story short I had a fucking HORRIBLE night. Really, it was beyond horrible. I’m not going to get into details but looking back on the entire night it makes the whole photo thing seem that much weirder. I dunno what it could have been….I almost think it was a ghost, most likely my father, that was sending me a sign. Sounds funny but I’m serious.

What else could explain all four of those pics?

This reminds us of the time we accidentally killed a hooker* and told the police that the reason we did it was because we thought she was a zombie and they said “Ok that’s fine we don’t really care it was just a hooker” and then we said “Whew ok that’s kind of why we did it too glad we’re on the same page there.”

* MMA Fix does not condone the mistreatment of hookers in society. Because really, in a way, aren’t we all hookers? Especially us, since chicks pay to bang us all the time. Really hot ones too.

Maybe this explains all of the misplaced anger.

Jon “War Machine” Koppenhaver was arrested Saturday morning (mug shot at right) on misdemeanor battery charges after allegedly getting into a fight at Krave Nightclub in Las Vegas.

For those of you not from Vegas or familiar with Krave, let’s say the club caters to a crowd that is “flaming”–but not the kind of flaming you might be familiar with on MMA forums–if you catch our drift. So perhaps War Machine was just . “What’s Krave like?” “Uh, the dude’s there are flaming.” “Awesome bro I love Sherdog.”

Betting Analysis: Dan Henderson vs. Rousimar Palhares

Can Dan “Hollywood” Henderson bounce back after back-to-back losses against Anderson “The Spider” Silva and Quinton “Batshit Crazy” “Rampage” Jackson? Fighting those two guys consecutively is like an NFL team having back to back games scheduled against the Colts and the Patriots. Most of the time you are going to lose both of those games and in Dan Henderson’s case he happen to lose both of those fights. Does this make Dan Henderson chopped liver? We don’t think so. Henderson is an extremely experienced fighter who has an impressive fight record of 22-7, and has been in some freaking wars against elite competition. Henderson’s wrestling is top notch, his defense is scary good, and his chin is rock solid. If you can stand up and bang with Rampage for 5 rounds it’s going to take a pretty heavy handed dude to knock your ass out.

Rouismar Palhares is an interesting cat. He is only 5’8’’ but he is thick as hell. Don’t be surprised if he becomes the 13th “Pitbull” in the UFC because he really looks like one! Like most Brazilian’s he definitely has serious skills on the ground. Then again finding a Brazilian fighter who is not dangerous on the ground is like finding an American guy who doesn’t watch the NFL on Sunday. NOT HAPPENING.

Rousimar Palhares was impressive in his UFC debut against Ivan Salaverry, submitting yet another one of his opponents (six of his eight victories have come via submission) but let’s not get overly excited about a submission victory over a guy nobody has ever heard of.

Clearly Rousimar Palhares needs to get this fight on the ground to have a shot against Dan Henderson. The bad news for Palhares is that Dan Henderson is a ridiculous wrestler, which will make it really difficult for him to get him on the ground. To make matters worse he doesn’t have enough confidence in his striking ability, and has no choice other than to become a one dimensional fighter. Once Rousimar Palhares realizes he can’t get this fight on the ground he will be forced to stand up and bang with Henderson. Bad news. We like Henderson in a second round KO.

The line at Dan Henderson -225 is pretty fair for a fighter of Dan Henderson’s caliber against an inexperienced fighter like Rousimar Palhares. We love action so we will bet $900 to win  $400.
